This wonderful
collection of fine art which is now available for purchase was
created by the Artist Kemper Coley during his life in Colorado.
Inspired by the Majestic surroundings of the North slope area of
Pikes Peak where he lived during this time, Kemper worked in
different forms of media which are represented here. The artworks
offered here are what he refers to as "plein air" landscapes,
watercolors, and mixed media. During this time, primarily in the
1980's - 1990's, he worked as a scenic artist in the Famous Broadmoor Ice Revue, the Colorado Actors Theater, an
illustrator for brochures, and an editorial cartoonist. He also sculptured parade floats, and restored murals at
the Will Rogers Shrine in Colorado Springs. His work has won many
awards, and has been represented by galleries in Colorado, Texas
and New Mexico.
He is now located in the Taos, New Mexico area where he continues to
create his wonderful art. |
