Kemper Coley was born in the Panama Canal Zone. His travels continued throughout Europe and the United States, until 1973, when he settled down in Colorado. While painting and traveling in the US, in 1993, his truck broke down in Taos, New Mexico. He never left. This painting is part of his Colorado painting days and now, some of this collection is being offered to the general public
